Who is behind Moustique Design
Let me introduce us....Anuschka...
So there is me, Anuschka, I run Moustique Design and I am the contact for all our clients. My background is foreign languages and business studies, which I studied to MA degree level. I was drawn to design since coming to the UK in 2000, and built lots of the hundreds of sites we have worked on when the business started in 2003 but am now mainly project managing.
I'm German, and since running this business have acquired a serious addiction to chocolate. I've got a few people working with me, and as I love cooking, I usually take some time out to cook a proper lunch to keep them healthy and happy.
...Neville-the-techy...
Neville is the other backbone of the business, he started working with me in 2004. He graduated with a degree in computer sciences and works on our technical solutions. He creates online shops where you can buy all these lovely goodies that our customers sell. He also builds forums where people can exchange thoughts and information, as well as web sites that can be easily updated via a Content Management System.
With his long hair, he looks a bit girly, too. He is always understanding of all our girly moods and cravings, ups and down and other quirks. Not that WE understand him all the time... When he is off on a techy ramble, we just quietly creep away and leave him to it.
Beware, Nev is a fan of Little Britain!
...Robert...
Robert is our other techy who can help with perfect HTML as well as with programming. Robert is German, too, and started working with Moustique in 2006. He also works on shops, content management systems and anything that requires absolutely bullet-proof and correct HTML. He knows about search engines and always keeps abreast with the latest developments in the web world. He makes sure your site will work in all browsers and that it is easy to use by all sorts of people, for example if they have bad eyesight and need to increase the text size. So you won't miss out on any interested party who wants to read about you or buy your goodies.
He enjoys hiking through forests to collect mushrooms that no-one has ever heard of.
...Sarah...
Sarah has been our designer and illustrator since 2007. With a degree in graphic design and illustration, she is our wonderful creative who breathes life into our clients' visions. She does all our logo and stationery designs, brochures and web site designs. With her talent for illustrations of all sorts of styles, she is able to go beyond what other designers may be able to do, she is our Superwoman! We can’t deny the German connection because Sarah is German, too, and a very cheerful soul.
...Jenny...
Jenny is our latest addition to the team. She joined us in Spring 2009 and has done all your updates and web site improvements since. With a BA in Media Computing, she is a very thorough allround talent who can create accessible web pages as well code databases or create animations, and she helps with our online shops. You might already have guessed where she is from... she is German as well. Jenny loves cycling and power walking.
